El Classico Super Cup: Ronaldo Pushes Referee Away After Getting Red Card As Madrid Beats Barcelona 3-1(Highlights)

It’s is the first El Classico of the season and it was not short of drama one bit. The first half was pretty boring as both teams were a bit cagey. They were both probably careful not to allow the other upper hand as the super cup is a two leg game.

Then in the second half a cross from the left side by Marcelo was unfortunately met by the legs of Barcelona Defender Gerard Pique for an own goal.

Minutes later Barcelona got their goal from a controversial penalty awarded to luiz Suarez and converted by the Barcelona captain Luiz Suarez.

Not too long from that substitute Cristiano Ronaldo Got Madrid ahead. He was later booked for diving and sent off. He was angered by that so much he shoved the referee. It is yet to be clear if he would be given additional ban for that.

The match did not end there,  Madrid superstar Asensio placed the cherry on the cake with a sweet left footed strike to beat the Barcelona keeper near post. The match ended 3-1 in favor of Madrid. Watch highlights below
